６年生が津留スクールカウンセラー（SC）から、コミュニケーションスキルについて学びました。

 「友だちが勝手に自分の消しゴムを使っているときの注意の仕方」を考えて、グループや全体で共有しました。

４つのポイントとして、

①相手の気持ちを考える。②自分の気持ちを表現する。③解決策を提案する。④理由を伝える。などを教えていただきました。

津留SCは毎月2回御船小にいらっしゃいます。困り事や悩み事の相談など、お話したい人は、担任の先生に伝えてくださいね。

6th grade students learned about communication skills from Tsuru School Counselor (SC).

We thought about ``how to be careful when a friend is using your eraser without permission'' and shared it with the group and the whole class.

As four points,

① Consider the other person's feelings. ② Express your feelings. ③Propose solutions. ④Convey the reason. They taught me things like that.

Tsuru SC comes to Mifune Elementary School twice a month. If you have any problems or concerns you would like to discuss, please tell your homeroom teacher.

火災発生場所を理科室に設定し、どの避難経路で避難すると良いか考えさせました。

消防士から、消火器の使い方の説明や、実演もありました。

安全な行動（お・か・し・も）を、協力してできました。

We set the science room as the location of the fire and had the children think about which evacuation route would be best.
Firefighters provided explanations and demonstrations on how to use fire extinguishers.
We were able to work together to act safely.

各学年で「歯の健康」について、学習しました。

４年生は、歯垢を染め出し、みがき残しを確認した後、歯みがきをしました。

３年生は、御船町健康つくり保険課の歯科衛生士さんから、おやつの選び方、歯のみがき方などを教えていただきました。

これからも、健康的な生活習慣を身に付け、自分の歯を守りましょう。

The 4th graders brushed their teeth after staining their teeth and checking to see if there was any leftovers.

The third-year students were taught how to choose snacks and how to brush their teeth by a dental hygienist from the Mifune Town Health Promotion and Insurance Division.

こんにちは。英語部です。

１１月１２日（日）に、御船町カルチャーセンターにて、English ＆ Music Fair in MIFUNEが、開催されました。

御船町は、「英語教育日本一」を目指しています。今回は、昨年度に引き続き、2回目の会となりました。

英語の発表会には、本校6年の緒方美優さん、興梠桜さん、横山更紗さん、浦川新菜さん、吉村楓果さんの5名が出場しました。ジェスチャーを交えながら、英語で堂々と発表、そして、受け答えをしていました。

演奏会には、本校の子供たちが大勢活動している「Mifune Jr. Brass Band」が出場しました。演奏した曲は「ピクニック（やってみよう）」「群青」の２曲でした。いずれも見事な演奏でした。

On Sunday, November 12th, English & Music will be held at Mifune-cho Culture Center.
Fair in MIFUNE was held.
Mifune Town aims to be ``No. 1 in English education in Japan.'' This was our second meeting, following last year.
Five sixth-year students from our school participated in the English presentation: Miyu Ogata, Sakura Koroki, Sarasa Yokoyama, Niina Urakawa, and Fuka Yoshimura. While making gestures,
They confidently made presentations and responded in English.
The Mifune Jr. Brass Band, which is made up of many children from our school, participated in the concert. The two songs they played were "Picnic (Let's try it)" and "Gunjo." All performances were wonderful.

１１月に入り、１０日間でたくさんの行事が行われました。

１日は、読み聞かせです。

書画カメラや大型テレビに映して読み聞かせをされるクラスもありました。

２日は、代表委員会です。

御船小を今以上に良くするために、様々なアイデアが出されました。

また、保健委員会は手洗い実験を行い、洗い方のコツを学びました。

６日は、４年３組で国語の研究授業が行われました。

『世界にほこる和紙』で、繰り返し出てくる言葉を探したり、筆者の考えが表れている文を見つけたりしました。

７日は２年生の『おもちゃまつり』です。

「ぴょんコップ」や「とことこ車」、「ヨットカー」などを作り、みんなで楽しく遊ぶことが出来ました。

同日は、６年生が道徳で「命」について学びました。

２年生は外国語（ハロウィン）です。

５年生は、理科で「ものの溶け方」を学びました。

８日は、ZOOMを使って児童集会（人権委員会の発表）が行われました。

今月の生活目標のとおり、「相手の気持ちを考えた言葉づかい」をして、楽しい学校生活を送ります。

９日は、５年生が集団宿泊へ出発しました。

子供たちはどんな２日間になるのか、ワクワク・ドキドキしながら出発しました。

１０日は、１年生保護者の給食試食会がありました。

栄養教諭から、給食センターや朝食についての話を聞き、児童たちが普段食べている給食を実際に食べました。

『非常においしい！』という声がたくさん聞かれました。

最後に、こちらが現在の体育館屋根の様子です。風速６０ｍにも耐える工事が着々と進んでいます。

代表の児童たちが各種目で頑張りました。

こんにちは６年部です。道徳の授業を紹介します。

今回は、『熊本地震で家を失った「おじいちゃん」が、なぜふるさとに住み続けるのか？』ということを中心にみんなで考えました。考えを伝え合う中で、

「大切な人や思い出がたくさんつまっているから」

「地震で家が壊れても、思い出までは壊されたくはない。」

「町が壊れてしまっても、人々の温かさはのこっているから。」

わずか１２歳ながらに、ふるさとの良さや周りの人の温かさを感じて育ってきているからこその、一つ一つの言葉だと思います。そんな「ふるさと」がある子供たちはとても幸せだと思います。

子供たちの振り返りより

・この「ふるさと」で暮らしているあたたかさは、大人になってこの町を出ていくときになって当たり前ではないことに気づくのかなと思いました。だから、今を大切に生きて、このあたたかさや、優しさを大切にしようと思いました。

・「ふるさと」には、大切な人との思い出や、あたたかさがあることを感じました。これから先、どうなるか分からないけど、ふるさとから離れたくない気持ちが少し強くなりました。

・地域の人たちのあいさつなどが、「がんばろう！」と私を思わせます。思い出がいっぱいつまっているふるさとは、帰ればとてもやさしくあたたかく包み込んでくれるものだと思う。

・ふるさとを大切にしてくれている人がいるから、ふるさとをぼくも大切にしたい。人々にやさしく明るい町をつくりたい。町のあたたかさをつくりたい。

・今日の学習を通して、ふるさとは安心して暮らせて、一人一人が自分らしくいられる。ふるさとは大切なことが分かった。これからもふるさとを大事に過ごそうと思った。

・御船町を大切に思っていこうと思った。ふるさとは大切で、思い出がたくさんあることがわかった。

・自分もふるさとを守りたいという気持ちになり、ふるさとのみんなにあいさつなどいっぱいしていきたいと思った。

・もともとは別の地域で育ったけれど、御船町も同じくらい大切にしていこうと思った。二つとも私のふるさとだと改めて思った。

・ふるさとを大切にしようと思った。そこにいる友達や家族を大切にしようと思った。もっとふるさとのことを調べて、知ろうと思った。

ふるさとである「御船町」をこれからも大切にしたいですね。真剣に考える子供達の姿、とても素晴らしかったです！！

こんにちは。初登場５年部です。

５年生は今、算数で『分数と小数』を学習しています。

今日は、分数を小数で表す方法を考えました。

いくつか問題を解くと、共通する事項がわかってきました。

それは、『分子を分母で割る』ということです。

方法を理解し、先生がスペシャル問題として『１１÷４』を解かせると、１５秒で答えられた児童がいました。

最後は全員正解することができました。

次回は、逆に小数や整数を分数で表す方法を考え、説明できるようにします。

Fifth graders are currently learning about fractions and decimals in math.
Today we thought about how to represent fractions as decimals.

After solving some problems, I found some common things.

That means ``dividing the numerator by the denominator.''
After understanding the summary, the teacher asked them to solve ``11÷4'' as a special problem, and one child was able to answer in 15 seconds.

In the end, everyone was able to get the answer correct.
Next time, we will think about and be able to explain how to represent decimals and integers as fractions.

体育館屋根工事に伴い、本日から御船町スポーツセンターでの体育の授業が始まりました。

今回は、武道場を利用し、相撲や綱引き、サーフィン、宝探しを楽しみました。

行きも帰りも、きちんと並んで徒歩移動をしました。楽しい時間になりました。

Due to construction work on the gymnasium roof, physical education classes have started today at the Mifune Town Sports Center.

This time, we used the martial arts hall and enjoyed sumo wrestling, tug of war, surfing, and treasure hunting.

On the way there and back, we lined up neatly and walked on foot. It was a fun time.

こんにちは。今年度初登場の４年部です。

昨日、県職員の吉川さんを講師に迎え、御船川へ環境調査に行きました。

透視度計を使って、水の透明度を確認したり、水質調査（パックテスト）をしたり、実際に川に入ってどのような水生生物がいるのかを調査したりしました。

水生生物は、水の汚れ具合で生息する種類が異なることを事前に学習していた子供たちは、それはそれは必死に見つけ・・・『キャーッ！』と叫びながら、怖がりながら喜んでいる姿がありました。

今後は、今回の学習で分かったことをまとめ、川の水がいつまでもきれいであるように、それぞれができることを探求し、学習を進めていきます。

Hello. This is the 4th grade division that will be appearing for the first time this year.
Yesterday, we went to Mifunegawa to conduct an environmental survey with Mr. Yoshikawa, a prefectural employee, as our instructor.
We used a fluorometer to check the clarity of the water, conducted a water quality survey (pack test), and actually went into the river to investigate what kind of aquatic life is present.

The children had learned in advance that different types of aquatic creatures live depending on how dirty the water is, and they desperately tried to find it... "Aaah! ” he shouted, looking both scared and happy.
In the future, we will summarize what we learned from this study and explore what each of us can do to keep the river clean forever.

今日は、修学旅行に出発した６年生の様子です。欠席者もなく全員揃って笑顔の旅立ちでした。これから日ごろできない貴重な体験をすることでしょう。

６年生進行で出発式をしました。校長先生から、「優しい人」に更に向かうような修学旅行にしましょう、という話でした。

添乗員さん、ガイドさん、運転手さん、カメラマンさんへ「お世話になります」とあいさつをしてバスに向かいます。

保護者、児童、職員の見送りを受けて、みんな笑顔で出発しました。

Today we will be showing the 6th grade students going on a school trip. There were no absentees and everyone departed with smiles on their faces. You will have a valuable experience that you cannot do everyday.

The departure ceremony was held by the 6th grade students. The principal suggested that we make a school trip that would encourage the students to become more ``kind people.''

I greet the tour conductor, guide, driver, and photographer by saying, "Thank you for your help," and head to the bus.

After being seen off by parents, children, and staff, everyone departed with smiles on their faces.

９月１１日（月）は、１年生の体育（幅跳び）と、４年生の図工（かみわざ小物入れ）の様子です。

９月１３日（水）は、児童集会が行われました。環境美化委員会が、節電節水について呼びかけました。〇×クイズで盛り上がったり、感想を発表してくれるお友達の話を聞いたりしました。

午後は、２年２組で国語の研究授業が行われました。

９月１５日（金）は、昼休みと掃除の様子です。

高温のため、完全に外遊びを取りやめました。教室でお絵かきをしたりタイピングをしたりして過ごしました。

掃除をする姿もステキですね！

September 11th (Monday) will be physical education (long jump) for first graders and arts and crafts (kamiwaza accessory case) for fourth graders.　
A children's assembly was held on Wednesday, September 13th. The Environmental Beautification Committee called on people to save electricity and water. We had a lot of fun with the 〇× quiz and listened to our friends share their impressions.
In the afternoon, a Japanese language research class was held for 2nd year class 2 students.
Friday, September 15th will be a lunch break and cleaning session.
Due to the high temperature, we have completely canceled playing outside. I spent my time in the classroom drawing and typing.

We purchased a blower for our PTA.It will come in handy during the season of glittering fallen leaves.

The day before yesterday, we welcomed Mr. Akahoshi, the super teacher of Kosa Elementary School, to conduct an in-school moral training session.

本日は２年生の１時間目。１組は算数『たし算の筆算』です。

繰り上がりの計算でしたが、どの児童もスラスラと解けていました。

２組は国語『かん字のひろば』で、絵の中の言葉を使って文を書きます。

口では簡単に言葉にできても、こうやって文字に表すとなかなか難しいことが分かりました。次の授業も参加してみたくなりました。

話は変わりますが、４年生が学年園で育てたスイカがこの通り実りました。

Today is the first hour of the second grade. One set is arithmetic "addition by writing".

Although it was a round-up calculation, all the children were able to solve it smoothly.

Class 2 will write sentences using the words in the pictures in the Japanese language ``Kanji no Hiroba.''

本日は５年、４年の理科です。

５年生は「流れる水のはたらき」を学習しています。

傾斜をつけた土に上から水を流し、どんな流れをするか確かめました。

流れる水には、侵食・運搬・堆積という3つのはたらきがあることがわかりました。

４年生は「雨水の行方と地面の様子」を学習しています。

砂場に行き、水の流れ方やしみ込み方に着目しました。これから、それらと地面の傾きや土の粒の大きさとを関係付けて学習を深めていきます。

Today is 5th and 4th grade science.

Fifth graders are learning about the function of flowing water.

Water was poured from above onto the sloped soil to see how it would flow.

We learned that flowing water has three functions: erosion, transport, and deposition.

Fourth graders are learning about where rainwater goes and what the ground looks like.

We went to the sandbox and focused on the way water flows and soaks in. From now on, we will deepen our learning by relating these to the slope of the ground and the size of soil particles.

先週８月３０日に、校内研修がありました。講師に松橋西支援学校の古閑先生をお招きして、すべての子どもたちが学校で安心して過ごすための支援等について、学びを深めることができました。

９月１日には、放課後子ども教室が開かれました。

運動場で、フィンランド発祥のスポーツ『モルック』を楽しみました。

Last week on August 30th, there was an in-school training. We invited Ms. Koga from Matsuhashi Nishi Support School as a lecturer, and we were able to deepen our learning about support for all children to spend their time at school with peace of mind.

On September 1st, an after-school children's class was held.

昨日は６年生が『認知症学習会』、３年生がスイカ農家さんをゲストティーチャーに迎えて『ようこそ先生！』の講義を受けました。

６年生の学習会では、社会福祉協議会の皆さんに、認知症の症状や関わり方について学びました。

３年生は、社会科の地域学習で、販売や生産に関わる仕事と、そこで働く人々のことを学んでいます。今回は、下田先生の元教え子であるスイカ農家さんに話をしていただきました。

どちらも、実際に関わりのある人からのお話で、児童たちも大変興味を持って学ぶことができました。

どうもありがとうございました！

明日はどこの学年を取材しようかな？

９月１日と言えば・・！

Hello. This is the 7th grade.

Yesterday, the 6th graders had a ``dementia learning session'', and the 3rd graders welcomed a watermelon farmer as a guest teacher and ``Welcome Teacher!'' ” I received a lecture.

At the study session for 6th grade students, we learned about the symptoms of dementia and how to interact with the members of the Social Welfare Council.

Third-year students are learning about jobs related to sales and production and the people who work there during community studies in social studies. This time, we spoke to a watermelon farmer who is a former student of Professor Shimoda.

Both stories were told by people who were actually involved in the story, and the children were able to learn with great interest.

８月２６日（土）１８時から、御船カルチャーセンターで、御船町子ども英語劇場が開催されました。本校からも、多数の児童が出演しました。英語を話しながら演技をするという難しいことをやってのけた子どもたち。たくさんの観客を前に、緊張しながらも、これまで約３カ月の練習の成果を発揮することができました。

来年は、あなたも出てみませんか

The Mifune Town Children's English Theater was held at the Mifune Culture Center on Saturday, August 26th from 6pm. Many children from our school also participated. The children accomplished the difficult task of acting while speaking English. Although I was nervous in front of a large audience, I was able to demonstrate the fruits of my three months of practice.

今日は２学期の始業式でした。久しぶりに児童たちと顔を合わせました

校長先生からは、２学期も｢優しい人｣になろうというお話がありました。

続いて、５年生が夏の思い出、２学期の抱負を発表しました。

個別に夏の思い出を聞くと、福岡（ガンダム）、天草（海）、大阪（ユニバ）など、観光地で楽しい思い出ができたようです

転入生の紹介もありました。

２学期もあっという間に過ぎそうです。引き続きよろしくお願いします。

Today was the opening ceremony for the second semester. The group met with the children for the first time in a while.

The principal told us that we should be "kind people" in the second term as well.

Next, the 5th graders presented their summer memories and resolutions for the second semester.

When asked individually about their memories of summer, it seems that they made fun memories at sightseeing spots such as Fukuoka (Gundam), Amakusa (Ocean), and Osaka (Univa).

There was also an introduction to a transfer student.
