昨日から、この４名が職場体験として本校で活動しています。

校内の清掃や、クラスに入って学習をサポート、今朝は読み聞かせボランティアにも参加してくれました。

明日まで体験活動をします。事務整理で掃除のない１週間なので、とても助かっています。

今日は読み聞かせの日です。

朝自習の時間に、ボランティア委員会の方々が２、４、６年生に読み聞かせをしてくださいました。

本の読み聞かせは、以前から子どもの言語能力や認知能力、社会性の発達を促すとされてきました。

実際に、読み聞かせをすればするほど子どもの言語発達は促進され、言葉の数が増えて、子どもの聞く力も上がることが分かってきました。このほかにも、読書量の増加、学力の向上、自律神経の安定化などにも効果があることが分かってきていますYeah！

本日、プール開きが行われました。

事故が起きないよう安全を祈り、準備運動後、満面の笑みで入水した児童たち。

今回はプールそうじ後についてです。１４日夕方から上下水道局と連携して注水しています。一度に入れると近隣の水道圧力が下がるからです。

朝現在、半分くらいの水位までたまりました。

御船小では「水泳見守り隊」として例年保護者OB、OGの方、現役保護者の方が子供の安全を支えてくださっています。

今年はボランティア委員会も協力いただけるので、より安全で楽しい水泳（水遊び）の授業になりそうです。水泳開始は６月１９日の週からです。

In the morning, the water level was about half full.

At Mifune Elementary School, OB and OG guardians and current guardians support the safety of children every year as a "swimming watch team".

The Volunteer Committee will be cooperating this year, so it looks like the swimming (playing in the water) class will be safer and more fun. Swimming starts the week of June 19th.

今年度も、フッ化物洗口（通称ぷくぷくうがい）が始まりました。

安全性があり、永久歯のむし歯予防対策として行われるこのフッ化物洗口は、来年３月まで、週１回のペースで行われます。

継続期間は長いほどよく、永久歯が萌出した頃から永久歯が生えそろう頃まで続けると、高い予防効果が得られます。

Fluoride mouthwash (commonly known as PUKUPUKU gargling) has started again this year.

This fluoride mouthwash, which is safe and performed as a preventive measure against tooth decay in permanent teeth, will be performed once a week until March next year.

Fifth graders participated in the National Elementary School Tooth Brushing Contest.

I learned about the causes of gingivitis and how to properly brush my teeth.

本日、プール掃除をしました。

まず、５年生がプールサイドや溝の掃除をしました。１年間使っていないプールには、草や枯れ葉、泥がいっぱい。溝の泥や落ち葉をかきだしてきれいにしました。

そして、後半６年生が、たわしやデッキブラシで、プールの壁をごしごし。

来週から始まる水泳の学習のために、汗をたらたら流しながら、みんなで頑張りました。

高圧洗浄機も活躍しました

We cleaned the pool today.

First, the 5th graders cleaned the poolside and ditch. A pool that hasn't been used for a year is full of grass, dead leaves, and mud. I cleaned up the mud and fallen leaves in the ditch.

And the latter half of the 6th grade scrubbed the wall of the pool with a tortoise scrubbing brush and a deck brush.

We all worked hard while sweating for swimming lessons starting next week.

東京都の小学校の校庭で先月、児童が転倒した際に地面からくぎの一部が突き出ていて、ひざを切る大けがをしたことがわかりました。運動会を２週間後に控える本校でも、運動場の安全点検を行いました。

話は変わりますが、『暑熱順化』という言葉を御存知でしょうか。
これは、文字通り体が暑さに慣れることです。暑熱順化ができていないと、体の熱をうまく外に逃がすことができず、熱中症になる危険性が高まります。
ウォーキングやストレッチ、入浴で体を温めることで効果があるそうです。
暑さに早く慣れて、初夏を乗り切りましょう。

計画委員会が、今年度のテーマを発表しました。

テーマは、『Never give up！心を一つに最高の運動会にしよう！』です。

発表後は、各団に分かれ団員の自己紹介等をして結束を強めました。

The planning committee announced this year's theme.

The theme is “Never give up! Let's make the best athletic meet with one heart! ".

民生児童委員協議会のあいさつ運動（５月１２日）を紹介します。

日ごろ民生児童委員さんは各地区で毎朝子どもたちの安全を見守っておられます。今朝は学校に集まられ、玄関で子どもたちとあいさつを交わされました。

普段、通学路で会っている民生児童委員さんと学校で顔を合わせ、中には不思議そうな表情であいさつをする子どももいました。

地域の方々の愛情に包まれながら育っている御船っ子です。

５月1０日（水）に、３年生が「西、南西コース」と「北、北西コース」に分かれて町探検に行きました。

御船町には、御船川や山、田んぼなどの自然や、食堂や小売店、タクシー、ガソリンスタンドなどのお店がありました。児童たちには御船町に愛着を持ってほしいです。

当日はこの３名に引率の御協力をいただきました。

On May 10th, the 3rd grade students were divided into the "West/Southwest Course" and the "North/Northwest Course" and went exploring the town.
Mifune Town had nature such as Mifune River, mountains, and rice fields, restaurants, retail stores, taxis, gas stations, and other shops. I want the children to have an attachment to Mifune Town.

On the day of the event, I received the cooperation of these three people.

こんにちは。４年部です。

５月1日（月）に、御船橋下で、稚あゆの放流体験をしました。

これは、緑川流域の環境保全や、食育を目的に緑川漁業協同組合が子供向けに行う活動の一つで、今回は中間育成された稚あゆを６千匹放流しました。

御船町で小学生が放流を行うのは、これが初めてです。

児童は、「大きくなあれ！」と声を揃えてバケツに入った稚あゆをを放流し、川の上流へ上っていく小さな生命に驚いていました。

On May 1st, under Mifunabashi, we experienced the release of young sweetfish.

This is one of the activities conducted by the Midorikawa Fisheries Cooperative Association for children with the aim of preserving the environment of the Midorikawa basin and food education.

This is the first time for elementary school students to release water in Mifune Town.

The children released the juvenile ayu from the bucket, shouting, "Be big!"

今日から令和５年度が始まりました。３年ぶりに体育館で開かれました。

まずは就任式。１４名の先生方をお迎えしました。

転入生は５名です。

次の始業式では、校長先生から２つお話がありました。

１つはマスクについてです。

給食の準備は必ず着用し、それ以外は着脱自由です。つけていること、外していることに理由はいりません。

２つ目は『優しい人になる』というお話です。

優しいことで、友達もたくさんできますし、勉強もできます。おうちや地域の人を大切にすることもできます。このお話は式ごとに話されます。

教科書給与のお話もありました。無償で支給されますので、夢や目標に向かってしっかり学んでほしいです。

最後の担任及び職員発表では、どの先生にも黄色い歓声があがっていました。

今年度も楽しい学校生活を送って欲しいです。引き続きよろしくお願いします。

Reiwa 5th year started today. It was held in the gymnasium for the first time in three years.

First, the inauguration ceremony. We welcomed 14 teachers.

There are 5 transfer students.

At the next opening ceremony, there were two stories from the principal.

One is about masks.

You must wear it when preparing for school lunch, and you can freely put it on and take it off otherwise. There is no reason to wear it or take it off.

The second is the story of "become a kind person".

By being kind, you can make many friends and study hard. You can also take care of your home and local people. This story is told ceremony by ceremony.

There was also a story about textbook salary. It will be provided free of charge, so I want you to study hard toward your dreams and goals.

In the last homeroom and staff announcement, every teacher had a yellow cheer.
