令和５年度、御船小は新１年生６１人を迎え、児童数３７５人、職員３５人でスタートしました。
　本年度も学校教育目標は「ふるさとを愛し、21世紀をたくましく生き抜く子どもの育成～自立・協働・創造～」としました。ふるさと御船町の中で、１０年後、２０年後にたくましい社会人となってほしいという願いとともに、御船町を陰に日向に支える人材に育ってほしいという願いを込めました。
　そのために、「自立」「協働」「創造」のキーワードを継承しつつ、全教育活動の中で、子供たちに身に付けさせたい３つの資質能力を意識しながら取り組んでいきます。

　子供たち、保護者、地域の皆様、教職員が「御船小学校でよかった」「御船小学校が大好き」と言える、笑顔が輝き夢がふくらむ学校づくりを進めていきます。

In the 5th year of Reiwa, Mifune Elementary School welcomed 61 new first-year students, and started with 375 children and 35 staff members.
This year, too, the school's educational goal is to "foster children who love their hometowns and live well in the 21st century: independence, cooperation, and creativity." In my hometown of Mifune Town, I hope that 10 or 20 years from now, I will become a strong member of society, and I hope that I will grow up to be a person who supports Mifune Town from the shadows.
To that end, while inheriting the keywords of "independence," "collaboration," and "creativity," we will work on the three qualities and abilities that we want children to acquire in all educational activities.

We will promote the creation of a school where children, parents, local residents, teachers and staff can say, "I'm glad I went to Mifune Elementary School" and "I love Mifune Elementary School," where smiles shine and dreams grow.
